Creations

Creations are custom or tailor-made orders placed by your clients. Like repairs, they go through the workshop, but the focus is on building something new rather than fixing an existing item.

Creating a creation order

Navigate to Sales ‣ Creations and create a new order. Select the customer and add items describing what needs to be made. Each creation order has a Creation title field on the sidebar for a descriptive name of the custom piece.

Items on a creation order can include both client-visible items (the final product and services) and workshop items (internal materials and labor instructions).

Workshop management

Creations share the same workshop features as repairs:

  • Workshop tab: Internal items describing materials and work instructions.

  • Workshop assignment: Assign the order to an external workshop from the sidebar.

  • Estimated time: Set the expected work duration for scheduling.

  • Deadline and exit date: Track when the piece should be completed and picked up.

Before and after photos

Upload photos to document the creation process — for example, a design sketch as a “before” photo and the finished piece as the “after” photo.

Quote requested

Enable Quote requested when the customer wants a price estimate before committing to the custom order.

Automations

Creations support the same automation triggers as repairs:

  • Status change: Notify the customer when the creation is ready for pickup.

  • Product is added to a creation: Update the product’s status automatically.

  • Photos uploaded: Trigger an email with progress photos to the customer.

  • Fully paid: Generate and send the invoice.
