AI image enhancement¶

Gem Logic can re-render any product image with AI directly from the product detail page. Use it to turn a quick phone snapshot into a clean studio-style photo, place a piece on a model, or stage it on a display — without leaving the product page.

The original image is always kept. Each enhancement creates a new image linked to the source, so you can compare results and delete the ones you don’t like.

How to enhance an image¶

Open a product and scroll to the Images section.
On the image you want to improve, click the purple AI button (sparkles icon).
Pick a style from the dropdown, or write a custom instruction.
A placeholder appears while the AI generates the new image. When it is ready, the new image is added to the product’s image grid.

The enhanced image is marked with a purple AI badge so you can recognize it at a glance.

Available styles¶

Natural enhancement: Improves sharpness, lighting and color of the original photo while keeping the same background and the honest pre-owned look. Best for second-hand pieces where you want to stay realistic.
Photo box style: Studio look with soft, even lighting on a seamless white background. Ideal for clean e-commerce listings.
Isolated, white background: Cuts the piece out and places it on a pure white background with a subtle contact shadow.
Worn by a woman / Worn by a man: Editorial-style photo of a model wearing the piece (ring on finger, necklace on neckline, earring on ear, bracelet on wrist, etc.).
On a jewelry display: Presents the piece on an elegant velvet display stand with warm directional lighting.
Custom instruction: Describe the change you want in your own words (for example, “place the ring on a marble surface with soft morning light”). The AI keeps the jewelry pixel-faithful and only changes the scene around it.

In every style the jewelry itself must stay visually identical to the source image: same metal, same gemstones, same shape. Only the background, lighting and surroundings change.

Approving and publishing¶

Generated images are created with Show on website turned off by default. This gives you a chance to review the result before customers see it. Toggle the website switch on the image to publish it, reorder it by drag-and-drop, or delete it if you are not happy with the output.

Billing¶

AI image enhancement consumes AI usage credits from your account balance. The cost of each generation is deducted automatically after a successful generation; failed generations are not billed. If your balance is empty, you’ll get an error message asking you to top up under Settings ‣ Usage.

Tips for better results¶

Start from the sharpest, best-lit source image you have. The AI preserves the jewelry from the source, so a blurry or dark original limits the final quality.
Try Natural enhancement first if you only want to clean up an existing photo without changing the scene.
For custom instructions, describe the scene, lighting and surface — not the jewelry. The piece itself is always kept faithful to the source.
Generate a few variations and keep the one you like best. You can always delete the others.
