Gembot

Gembot is the AI assistant built into Gem Logic. It can answer questions about how the app works, look up records (contacts, products, orders, invoices…), draft and improve text, navigate you to the right page, and trigger actions like sending emails or generating images.

You can talk to Gembot from two places:

  • The Gembot sidebar inside the app.

  • Telegram

Both channels share the same brain, the same memory, and the same chat history.

Chatting from the app

Click the Gembot icon in the navbar (the gradient bot icon) to open the sidebar. Type your question at the bottom and press Send.

You can also start a conversation from any listview using the Ask Gembot button in the header, or from the suggestion chips shown on empty pages.

Chat history

Every conversation is saved. Open the History dropdown at the top of the sidebar to switch back to a previous chat.

Starting a new conversation

There are two ways to start a fresh conversation in the sidebar:

  • Click the + New chat button at the top of the sidebar.

  • Type /reset as your message and send it. Gembot replies with “Session reset. Starting a fresh conversation.” and the next message begins a brand-new chat.

Old chats are not deleted — they stay in your History dropdown.

Chatting from Telegram

Once Telegram is connected, you can chat with Gembot from anywhere.

Telegram always uses your most recent conversation, so follow-up messages continue the same thread. Replies, images, and inline action buttons (for example Send draft or Archive email) all work from Telegram.

Resetting the Telegram conversation

To start a fresh conversation in Telegram, send /reset to the Gembot bot.

Gembot will reply with “Session reset. Starting a fresh conversation.” and any further messages start a new chat with no memory of the previous one. Your old chats remain accessible from the History dropdown in the in-app sidebar.

Tip

/reset works the same way in the in-app sidebar — it is the quickest way to start over on either channel.
