Gembot¶

Gembot is the AI assistant built into Gem Logic. It can answer questions about how the app works, look up records (contacts, products, orders, invoices…), draft and improve text, navigate you to the right page, and trigger actions like sending emails or generating images.

You talk to Gembot from the Gembot sidebar inside the app.

Chatting from the app¶

Click the Gembot icon in the navbar (the gradient bot icon) to open the sidebar. Type your question at the bottom and press Send.

You can also start a conversation from any listview using the Ask Gembot button in the header, or from the suggestion chips shown on empty pages.

Chat history¶

Every conversation is saved. Open the History dropdown at the top of the sidebar to switch back to a previous chat.

Starting a new conversation¶

There are two ways to start a fresh conversation in the sidebar:

Click the + New chat button at the top of the sidebar.
Type /reset as your message and send it. Gembot replies with “Session reset. Starting a fresh conversation.” and the next message begins a brand-new chat.

Old chats are not deleted — they stay in your History dropdown.
