Shipments

The Shipments module manages outgoing packages — whether you are sending products to customers, shipping repairs to a workshop, or returning items to a supplier. Create shipping labels, track deliveries, and group multiple orders into a single shipment.

Creating a shipment

Navigate to Logistics ‣ Shipments and click Create shipment. Select a recipient contact and a shipping method. Gem Logic generates a shipping label through the connected carrier and stores the PDF.

You can also create a shipment directly from an order detail page, which automatically links the order and pre-fills the recipient.

Carrier integrations

Gem Logic integrates with the following carriers:

  • SendCloud: Supports all SendCloud shipping methods (DHL, PostNL, DPD, bpost, etc.). Configure your SendCloud API keys in the integrations settings.

  • MikroPakket: Direct integration with the MikroPakket shipping API.

When no carrier integration is configured, you can still create shipments manually with your own tracking number.

Shipment detail page

The detail page shows:

  • Shipment details: Tracking number, carrier, recipient, address, creation date, and insurance value.

  • Shipping label: The carrier-generated PDF label, embedded for viewing and with one-click printing support.

  • Shipment list: A generated packing slip PDF listing all included orders and their items.

Including orders

Group multiple orders into a single shipment using the Included sales/repairs card on the detail page. Click Add sale/repair and scan a QR code or type an order ID.

This is useful when sending multiple items to the same destination — for example, shipping several repairs to an external workshop in one package. When a repair is added to a shipment with a workshop contact, the repair’s status is automatically set to “In workshop”.

Returning memo items

When returning items from an incoming memo, create a shipment with the memo linked. The system automatically updates the memo items’ returned quantities.

Shipment list PDF

Click Generate shipment list to create a packing slip PDF. The document includes recipient details, carrier information, and a table of all included orders with their items.
