Stock in¶
The Stock In module tracks products and materials received from suppliers. Each stock in record represents a delivery or purchase, linking the received items to a warehouse and optionally to a supplier and brand.
Creating a stock in¶
Navigate to and click Add stock in. Fill in:
Warehouse: The storage location receiving the stock (required)
Supplier: The supplier delivering the goods
Brand: The brand associated with this delivery
Date: The date of the stock reception
If you only have one warehouse, a quick-create button is shown that creates a stock in with today’s date in a single click.
Adding items¶
On the stock in detail page, add products using the item form or by scanning barcodes.
Product items¶
Expand the Add stock in item form and fill in:
Product: Search and select an existing product, or leave empty to auto-create a new one
Quantity: Number of units received
Cost price and Sell price: Optionally set or update pricing
Categories, Brand, EAN code: Update product metadata on the fly
Image: Upload a photo or capture one with the webcam
When a product item is added, the stock quantity in the selected warehouse is automatically increased and an inventory movement is recorded.
Quick scan¶
Use the barcode input at the top of the detail page to quickly scan items. Scanning a barcode, SKU, or EAN code adds the product with a quantity of 1.
Materials¶
Use the Add material form to receive raw materials (e.g., gold, silver, gemstones). Select the material, enter the quantity and weight unit, and optionally the cost price.
Supplier reference lookup¶
When typing a supplier reference in the item form, Gem Logic automatically searches for matching products and pre-fills the form.
Document information¶
The sidebar on the detail page contains the document card where you can record:
Invoice number and Invoice date
Delivery number and Delivery date
Paid status
Transactions¶
Record payments against a stock in using the Transactions card on the sidebar. This helps track whether the supplier has been paid.
Label printing¶
After adding items, print product labels directly from the stock in. Use the print button above the items table to print labels for all items, or use the per-item actions dropdown to print a single label.
PDF export¶
Export the stock in item list as a PDF using the download button above the items table.
Filtering¶
Filter the stock in list by:
Stock in ID or search (ID, invoice number, delivery number)
Creation date range
Flagged status
