Calendar

The Calendar module gives you an overview of events, tasks, and order deadlines in a single view. You can create local calendars, connect Google Calendar accounts, and share calendars with team members.

Navigate to Agenda to open the calendar.

Calendar views

The calendar offers four views:

  • Day – hourly time grid for a single day.

  • Week – hourly time grid for the full week (default on desktop).

  • Month – month overview.

  • List – a list of upcoming events (default on mobile).

Use the arrow buttons to navigate between periods, or click Today to jump back to the current date. A mini calendar in the sidebar provides quick date navigation.

Calendars

You can manage multiple calendars, each with its own color. Toggle calendars on or off in the sidebar to control which events are visible.

Create a local calendar

Click the + button in the sidebar and choose Local calendar. Give it a name and pick a color.

Connect Google Calendar

Click the + button and choose Google Calendar. Sign in with your Google account to authorize the connection. Once connected, events sync automatically in both directions every 30 minutes.

Events created in Gem Logic appear in Google Calendar and vice versa. Deleting an event in either place removes it from both.

Share a calendar

Click the share icon next to a calendar to choose which team members can see it. Shared calendars appear in their sidebar alongside their own.

Default calendar

Click a calendar’s menu to set it as your default. New events are created on the default calendar unless you choose another one.

Create an event

Click on a date or time slot in the calendar, or use the Add event button. Fill in the following fields:

  • Event name – the title of the event.

  • Start and End – date and time.

  • Calendar – which calendar to place the event on.

  • Location – an optional location.

  • Description – additional details.

  • Attendees – contacts to invite.

  • Color – override the calendar color for this event.

Tip

You can reschedule events by dragging and dropping them to a new date or time.

Google Meet

For events on a Google Calendar, you can generate a Google Meet link directly from the event form. The link appears on the event detail so attendees can join the call with one click.

Event detail

Click an event to view its details. From the detail view you can:

  • Edit the event fields.

  • Change the event color.

  • Delete the event.

  • Join a video call if a link is available.

When an event is linked to a contact, activity is automatically posted to the contact’s chatter.

Tasks and orders on the calendar

The calendar can display more than just events. Use the toggles in the sidebar to show or hide:

  • Tasks – tasks with a planned date or deadline appear on the calendar in purple. Drag a task to change its planned date.

  • Orders – orders with a deadline appear color-coded by type (green for sales, orange for repairs, purple for creations, blue for quotes, pink for memos). Drag an order to change its deadline. Click an order to go to its detail page.
