Credits¶
Credits are a prepaid balance you top up inside Gem Logic and spend on pay-per-use services like SMS and AI image generation. The balance is shared across the whole database: any user with billing access can top it up, and every consumable feature deducts from the same pot.
Where to find it¶
Navigate to to see:
The current Credit balance, shown in your company’s default currency.
The remaining AI image generations.
Buttons to top up the balance or purchase more AI image generations.
Topping up the balance¶
Click Add credits and choose one of the preset amounts (10, 100, or 1,000 in your default currency). You are redirected to a secure Stripe checkout to complete the payment. A VAT-compliant receipt is generated automatically.
Once the payment succeeds, the amount is added to your credit balance immediately and you are returned to the Credits page.
Note
The balance never expires. Credits remain available until they are consumed by a service.
Services that consume credits¶
SMS¶
Every SMS sent by Gem Logic (manually or through an automation) deducts its cost from the credit balance. The cost depends on the destination country and the length of the message (long messages are split into multiple segments, each billed separately).
If the balance reaches zero, SMS sending is paused until the balance is topped up again.
AI image generation¶
AI image generations (used to generate product pictures and similar visuals) are purchased separately as a bundle of 100 or 1,000 generations. The remaining count is displayed on the Credits page and decreases by one each time an image is generated.
Permissions¶
Only users with the billing permission can view the Credits page and purchase top-ups. Assign this permission from on the user’s role.
